Microsoft Sign-In
Why can’t I sign in with Microsoft anymore?
Fable is retiring Microsoft SSO as a login method. This change helps simplify our login system and improve reliability. You can still access your account — you’ll just need to reset your password and sign in with your email instead.
What do I need to do to keep using my Fable account?
You’ll need to reset your password using the same Microsoft email address you originally used to sign up. Once you create a new password, you’ll log in using your email + password going forward.
How do I reset my password?
- Go to our password reset page: [link to be added]
- Enter the Microsoft email you used when signing up
- Follow the instructions to create a new password
- Log in using your email and new password
Will my reading progress, lists, highlights, and activity be lost?
No. All your account data stays the same. Resetting your password only changes how you sign in — nothing in your account will be affected.
How do I know which email to use for the reset?
Use the same Microsoft email address you originally chose when you created your Fable account. If you’re not sure which email that is, check your settings in the Fable app to see the email associated with your Microsoft login.
What if I can’t access the Microsoft email I used to sign up?
If you no longer have access to that email account, please contact our support team at support@fable.co so we can help you recover your Fable account.
I reset my password, but I still can’t sign in. What should I do?
Double-check that you’re using:
- The same Microsoft email address you originally used
- The new password you created during the reset process
If you still can’t sign in, contact us at support@fable.co and we’ll help you get back into your account.
